Singapore in one word. SO-DAMN-MIND-BLOWINGLY-AWESOME.


The hotel I stayed in was terribly small. Link Hotel @ Tiong Bahru Road. The room is definitely not suitable for 3 people to a room I squished with my parents while Big Bro & Chern got the room to themselves.


Day 1.

Woke up super duper early (6.30 a.m to be exact) had Dim Sum for breakfast and left for Singapore. Didn't make any unnecesary pit stops. Reached Sg ard 11+ had lunch at the market nearby yummy hawker food (Had the fried hokkien prawn mee. *slurps*) Checked into the hotel and got ready for SHOPPING. :)


Went to Ion Orchard. Seriously tis an A-W-E-S-O-M-E shopping centre. The lower floors have more reasonably priced stuff compared to the upper floors that have eg. Miu Miu, Salvatore Ferragamo etc. First shop I went to was Uniqlo (A Japanese brand) and I ♥ it! I finally found a place that sold pretty hoodies that were CHEAP. 29.90 SGD for one! I bought two. (Yes, I'm greedy that way) Ohyeah, I finally also got my plain white t-shirt that ISN'T see through. excellence.

Walked around looking for the shoe shop that Steph recomended to me (Mitju). Found it eventually and the shoes were soooo pretty. I bought a pair of heels. The sales people there were very helpful eventhough they kept speaking to me in Mandarin when they knew I could only speak English. The shoes were WORTH it. :)

Walked around a little more. & finally left Ion quite satisfied. :) Had dinner at a crab place nearby the hotel. The curry crab was pretty damn good cz the sauce wasn't too spicy and you could drink it like a broth. The vegetables were a little disappointing though.



Day 2


Went to Orchard again to walk around. Went to Takashimaya. Bought a cute handbag while mommy splurged on a Braun Buffel one. Walked to Atria and bought stuff from Hula and Co. Went to Cotton On Body as well to get some stuff. :) Had small lunch at Toast Box nearby and then started Prom dress hunting.

Didnt manage to find any stuff and moved on to Ion again. Collected my oh-so sexy heels from Mitju. Went wandering around again. Couldnt really find much. Went on to Bugis and walked around Bugis Junction for awhile. Made my way to Haji Lane from there. Seriously guys, Haji Lane is totally equivalent to boutique shopping in Bangsar. The steps of the shops are waay steeper and there are less places for shade. Haji Lane is also shisha land in Singapore.

Went back to the hotel and took a nice deserving shower. Got ready for a nice Jap buffet @ our hotel. It was quite tasty though most of the grilled food had a little too much garlic for me eventhough i love my garlic. It was only so so the grilled. Sashimi was pretty fresh and so was the wasabi. :) Kor Calvin joined us for dinner.

Aft dinner we went to Clarke Quay to hang out. The night scene is rly cool there. I now regret not trying the Turkish ice cream! :( We stumbled upon a small stall that sold those cute little light up tees that follow the beats of music. If you guys follow Jumbafund (From KevJumba) on youtube I think you might know what I'm talking about. Big bro bought one and he says he's gona wear it to clubs. :) Ended up going to Clinic (the bar) in Clarke Quay. The drinks are cute but pretty pricey. Will post up pictures in another post.

Stuck around for little while more then headed back to the hotel. Chatted with kor Calvin till he left. Went back to the room and caught some z's.

Day 3

Woke up to have breakfast at the hawker center nearby. Curry Rice is love. :) Went to Orchard yet again (never sick of Orchard I tell you) Went to Atria again to go to Max & More. Awesome stuff. Bought two dresses. Went to Cotton On and bought two pairs of shorts. Worth it to the MAX! :)

Went to have lunch at Ion. Didn't manage to get any stuff there anymore. :) Went to Bugis Street later in the afternoon got a skirt for damn cheap yo. 10 SGD! They were selling lots of belts too for cheap 5 SGD for one. :)

Had dinner at some steamboat place. Pretty dang tasty I might add. Last night in Singapore was spent cutting tags off my new stuff to prevent being taxed. LOL

Day 4

Woke up and had kway chap for breakfast. The hawker lady was really testing my mandarin man. Packed up the rest of my things when I got back to the hotel. Watched some alien movie before with mom before we left. HAHA. :)

Stopped in JB for a little bit more shopping at Tebrau City. Bought a skirt from Jusco which was damn cheap in my eyes. RM30! After shopping in Singapore and everything. 30 bucks looks damn cheap lor. Had the yummy portugese egg tart and lunch at some pirated version of Kim Gary. The food @ Kim Gary is better anyway. Was talking in the car with Chern and Mommy and laughing at the people in the Seventeen Magazine (Singapore edition). Slept for awhile and reached Melaka around 7.30pm. Dad bought the yummy nasi lemak (oh, it is seriously the BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST nasi lemak in Malaysia hands down) Slept more in the car.

Reached home at about 9 pm. Ate the nasi lemak while watching Mrs.World. I only watched a bit of it cz I got really bored. Started admiring my purchases and unpacking. :)

Singapore trip was real good. I hope I can go down again w/Ping. :( Hopefully mommy will let. Before I go back to schoool.
